Kaelin Ellis | KES-1

The KES-1 is a sample-based synthesizer created by Kaelin Ellis.

Pulling inspiration from classics like the Roland JV-2080, D-50, and Korg Triton, Each sound in the KES-1 was carefully selected from MY own archive, pieces of records, sessions, and years of sound hunts. These are fragments of my memory, curated to spark something.

With 50+ presets, 16 tweakable knobs, 8 selectable banks, and a built-in randomizer, the KES-1 unlocks deep sound-shaping potential. It’s been in refinement since late 2024 and appeared as a lead synth on Readiness Comes in Time.

Compatible with Ableton Live 11 and up (all versions), the KES-1 also includes its full preset library as a standalone sound pack. ASDR, glide, modulation, it’s everything you didn’t know you needed.
